Pearl Gemstone Lustrous and Lovely

PEARL – MOTI

Pearls, unlike other gemstones, are part of a living organism. Their very birth is a miraculous happening. Pearls take birth in the shell of an oyster in the lost kingdoms underwater. Oysters do not float on the surface, so to harvest them; divers must search the depths after waiting years for the pearls to be formed.  But what makes the Pearl such a popular and prized treasure? The answer is their raw beauty. Other gemstones require some polishing and finishing but not a pearl. No such treatment is needed to bring out its beauty. They have in them a lustrous soft inner glow and shimmering iridescence that makes them unique when compared to many other gemstones.

Colour

The best-known pearl colour is white, and pearls can occur naturally in nearly every shade! The colour of the Pearl depends on the colour of the shell of the oyster. They can range from white to black, from golden to chocolate, from pink to lavender to blue and beyond!

Pearls should never be cleaned in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner. It’s safe to use warm, soapy water for occasional, thorough cleaning. If the Pearls are strung, be sure the string is completely dry before wearing. It’s best to wipe freshwater pearls with a very soft, clean cloth after each wearing.

Apart from its astrological benefits, a pearl can always be worn as jewellery. Pearls make perfect jewellery items. Be it a bracelet, ring, necklace or pendant; a pearl can be worn as all of these. And you can easily look over the variety of designs on our website.
